Win Perfect Dark for XBLA: Best Date EVER

One of my favourite parts of writing for this site are the awesome fellow gaming bloggers I get to meet as part of my job. So I was super chuffed when Jay Acevedo from GameFocus.ca came to me with a lovely idea…
Now, Jay’s a friend of Dave’s and mine on Xbox Live, and we’ve played many a game online together (including 1 vs. 100) despite our distance (we’re in Ontario and he’s in Quebec). His site is way more well established than ours but, since our approaches are slightly different, we’ve never seen each other as competitors. But we’re also Facebook friends, and we’ve recently launched our Facebook fan pages.
So wasn’t it super sweet of him, after getting a bajillion more fans than we did, to offer us a prize for our first Facebook contest? Answer: Yes, it was.
And so, to make a long story short (too late), Dave and I would like to offer you (and your significant other) the chance to win a code to download Perfect Dark for XBLA. For two. Because it has co-op.
It’s easy—all you need to do is:
- Become a fan of our Facebook page
- Become a follower of our Twitter feed
- Comment on the link to this article on our Facebook fan page with your Twitter name and tell us a bit about how gaming affects your love life (please keep it relatively clean)
You could also visit GameFocus.ca and become a fan of their site on Facebook and follow them on Twitter as well; though this is optional, it will happen. Because Jay is awesome.
Anyway, I figure that, since it’s the middle of the week right now, I’ll give you all until Saturday at 5 p.m. EST to get in on the action. We’ll draw the lucky fan/follower randomly and DM you through Twitter. Good luck, kids!

Love life, what love life? Currently i don’t have one to be perfectly honest, was trying so hard not so long ago, but well, lets say it’s long story (isn’t every reltaionship) and i don’t think you want me to write an essay, and hear about all the boring (but not to me) but rather juicy if i may say so myself details.
If i got this code, i’d be happily enjoying it by myself, i may even get my dog to try coop with me, who knows.

Unfortunately or fortunately (depending on my mood at any given time) my gaming has affected my love live in that I play games so often it stops me from being social publicly.But then again, I have been having some major health issues for the past 5 years that have actually caused me to become disabled and unemployed.So naturally there’s not much I can do except sit around at home and play games to keep me occupied.I don’t feel like I’m particularly in the best shape of my life too so I’m not really feeling like this is the best time for me to be trying to attract someone else.I’m basically in the worse shape of my life and I can barely walk so I don’t appear to be the best prospective bachelor.I play a lot of Burnout Paradise and do talk to girls a lot on there but I don’t think I’d ever pursue a relationship through a game unless I was absolutely desperate and I’m not quite there yet.I have hopes that eventually I’ll get better and then I might start looking around.Until then, I’m just going to go as far as making casual friends and if something comes out of that then so be it.I’m always open to the possibilities.Wish me luck.My Twitter name is nvmisfit.
